We put up our Halloween decorations this weekend,
we usually put them up earlier but we have had so much
rain in the past 2 weeks that I kept putting it off .
The kids love all the decorations but I cant wait to take them down
the second Halloween is over, and that goes the same for all holidays,
I am not a seasonal decorations gal. All that stuff out in the front of
the house looks so junky to me, but I do it anyways...
We had our street fair this weekend and I live walking distance (in L.A. walking distance is no more than a quarter of a mile) to
the coolest street in L.A. , Larchmont Village.
It is the heart of Hancock Park and it is made up of lovely little restaurants, boutiques,
coffee shops, basically you name it and it is on Larchmont.
Some of the buildings date back to the 20's and are just beautiful.

this is not really a library...it is a great clothing boutique
my kids take this train to school every morning (just kidding)
this was set up for the Fair and no matter how old you are
it is still fun, i think.

such great families live in my hood,
I am so lucky...

you can see the Hollywood sign in
the distance (that white strip on the mountain
to the left of the stop sign)

Hope you all had a fun weekend!
Thanks for sharing those! It is so huge to love where you live.
ReplyDeleteI am the same way about seasonal decorations. What is that about? I have 1 pumpkin. That is all. I think I'll hang some bistro lights on the porch but I'm just not into it. I can get away with it a little longer. Have a good week!
sounds like such a great neighborhood! so fun!
